Of the 27 billion hours spent online in September YouTube and Facebook accounted for 10% of those endless hours with 1.2 billion and 1.4 billion hours respectively.

Digital Media reports that Google sites account for 2.5 billion hours and Yahoo 1.7 billion hours. Yahoo’s hours, however, fell 14% from the same month last year while Facebook grew 193% in the last year.  China's 1.3 billion potential users mean that within five years the internet will be dominated by Chinese-language content.
