HSPA+, also known as HSPA Evolution, services have been available since the beginning of 2009.
 
Presently, there are 38 operators around the globe who have launched HSPA+ services with a significant number of new launches and network expansions expected in the coming year.
 
Based on information provided by vendors and operators who have deployed or trialed HSPA+, this white paper discusses the motivations behind HSPA+, the issues facing operators as they consider an HSPA+ strategy, the various technology options associated with HSPA+, and the complementary roles that LTE and HSPA+ will share in the coming decade.
