Orange has added streaming music services from Deezer to its entertainment portfolio. Subscribers can access the firm’s Premium + package, offering advert free music on desktop PCs and mobile phones, for €10 per month.

Vodafone is considering offloading its £4b (€4.8 billion) stake in China Mobile, either on-market or through a direct deal. Vodafone owns around a fifth of China Mobile's free floating shares.

Norway's Systor Group is in talks with Indian systems integrators including Tech Mahindra over the provision of MNP services in India.

Usage of the Opera Mini mobile browser grew 205% by unique users, and 238% by page views in July among the 10 APAC nations which use it the most.

Telenor has promoted executive vice president Bjorn Magnus Kopperud to deputy head of its central and Eastern Europe division. Kopperud has occupied various roles during his 16 years with the Norwegian firm.

Google is in talks with Hollywood studios over a global pay-per-view video service on YouTube, to launch by year-end, FT.com reports.
