Apple Japan has promised to replace iPod nano units which overheat, after reports of fires caused by overheating spread through the Japanese market.
SingTel has upgraded its IP backbone network with Huawei's NE5000E 1+2 router cluster system to support services ranging from VoIP to IPTV.
Telecom Italia yesterday began a second phase of LTE tests trialing equipment from Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, Huawei and Nokia Siemens Networks in 17 new sites in Turin.
France Telecom will start selling quad-play services on August 19, after restrictions were lifted in June. The incumbent’s packages will be available for between €40 and €110 per month, according to Bloomberg.
Voxel is expanding its cloud-based platform to eight new US cities, using equipment from data center services firm Equinix.
