It's difficult enough in this industry to forecast one year ahead, let alone take a stab at what mobile operators will look like in 10 years.

Huawei, however, thinks it has the next decade's growth drivers sussed [http://www.telecomasia.net/content/huaweis-big-four-next-ten-years]:  mobile broadband, cloud computing, home networking and M2M.

No, there's nothing surprising in that list.

And yes, any telco exec probably could have cobbled together that same list.

But Huawei is one of the industry's key technology drivers.

And it is urging operators to think "Beyond [the] Bitpipe" if they are going to survive the next ten years in the free internet world in which we live.
