The GSMA Mobile World Congress is the place for mobile leaders to gather, collaborate and conduct business and experience Vision In Action. 

The Congress provides the planet’s best venue for mobile industry networking, new business opportunities and deal-making. It includes a world-class conference featuring visionary keynotes and action-provoking panel discussions. An exhibition with more than 1300 companies displaying the cutting-edge products and technologies that define the future of mobile. As well as a Global Mobile Awards ceremony that features the most innovative mobile solutions and initiatives from around the world.
 
In 2009, GSMA Mobile World Congress hosted approximately 47,000 mobile professionals from 182 countries. More than 50% of these were C-Level executives, and 9,000 of them represented mobile network operators from around the world. In addition, more than 2,400 members of the press reported from the event, representing more than 1,500 media groups from 76 countries.
