T-Systems and Alcatel-Lucent have agreed a global framework agreement under which Alcatel-Lucent will provide T-Systems and Deutsche Telekom with convergent communications solutions from its enterprise portfolio.

The idea is that the deal will make it easier for T-Systems and the business customer branch of Deutsche Telekom, to supply their large enterprise customers (T-Systems) and business customers (DT), with IP solutions for voice and data networking.

All business units of DT, including its affiliates worldwide, will now have direct access to Alcatel-Lucent’s enterprise solutions, which include hybrid VoIP and digital comms systems for businesses, solutions for contact centers, hotels and hospitality, unified communications, mobility solutions, LAN and WLAN platforms, network management, and security solutions. They also include Octopus Open and Octopus EP, as well the LAN portfolio.

No financial details were disclosed, nor the length of agreement.
